Mega Man: Dr Wily Revenge is finally available on Virtual Console.

Personally, I think it’s one of the best entries in the series.
If you’re an avid Rockman player, it will feel a bit slow at first, but the remade levels are just so much better than the original counterparts, not to mention that the Wily Fortress is a lot of fun - and deaths!

And the soundtrack! Oh, man, the soundtrack. I remember the ending song moved me to tears when I was but a toddler and I beat the game for the first time!

The drawback is that the game is short, after all it’s the first portable Mega Man entry ever, and they managed to only put 6 stages in that little Gameboy cartridge.

But for 4 euros - or whatever the price is where you live - I wouldn’t really complain.
